Our original company was founded in 1982 with one location in Buckhead under the name of Sydell - Skin Care Salon. We have experienced name changes that reflect our growth and the general direction of our industry. Sydell - Skin and Body Care Salon; Sydell The Face and Body Spa, and our present appellation - Spa Sydell.

Sydell Harris is the co-chairman and founder of Atlanta-based Spa Sydell. In the spa industry, Sydell is considered one of the leading experts, having trained, either directly or indirectly, a majority of Atlanta's skin care technicians. Over the past two decades, she has turned her original skin care spa concept into the most successful day spa in Atlanta, with seven strategic locations across the city and services ranging from massages and the latest in body treatments to signature facials and manicures. As such, Spa Sydell is now viewed as the pacesetter in the evolution of skin care in today's booming day spa concept.

Aside from Sydell's excellent reputation in regards to ethics, expertise, training and education, she has been recognized for her philanthropy and commitment to the community. She has been featured on CNN - TV's "Super Citizen of the Week", chosen one of ten "Devoted Women of Atlanta", and received the "Helping Hand Award" from the Atlanta Jewish Home as well as the "Angel Award" from the Shepherd Spinal Center. She has been profiled in numerous local and national publications and television programs, including the Today Show with Katie Couric.
