What is the difference between Botox and Filler?

  • Botox is used to treat the wrinkles that are present with movement by relaxing the muscle(s) in the treatment area.
    • Can also be used for: lip flips, treating migraines, correcting down turned lips, managing jaw pain, correcting a gummy smile, and more.
    • We also carry Jeuveau, Xeomin, and Dysport. These are all neuromodulators like Botox and act similarly.
  • Filler is used to treat wrinkles that are visible at rest by filling the space and therefore smoothing the wrinkle(s).
    • Filler can also be used to treat: thin or asymmetrical lips, volume loss in the cheeks, chin, undereye, or hollows due to age or genetics.
    • We offer a variety of fillers each designed for indiviual treatment areas

The short answer is that Botox (and other neuromodulators) relaxes muscle movement whereas filler fills space.

What is a biostimulator?

Biostimulators are designed to stimulate your body's collagen production. Therefore, results are not seen immediately but over time. Biostimulators are a great option for those who are looking for anti-aging treatments without the use of filler or Botox.

Can I get a facial after receiving Botox?

We recommend waiting at least one week before receiving a facial. However, you CAN get Botox after a facial!
