You will have little downtime after your treatment. Most patients require only 24 hours of recovery before resuming their usual activities. It is important that you do not get your skin wet or apply anything to your skin for the first 24 hours, and this includes avoiding activities that will make you perspire. After 24 hours, you may resume your usual skincare routine, and sunscreen is highly recommended. Patients should continue to avoid heavy perspiration or hot baths for up to two days.
