How it works.
Microneedling works by encouraging the skin to produce more collagen. The pinpricks from the sterile micro needles pressed into the skin cause a slight injury to the skin, which in turn causes it to respond by making new collagen-rich tissue. The new tissue that is produced is more even in tone and texture.
Also, the pinpricks or microchannels let the skin absorb ingredients applied topically, which improves the effectiveness of skincare products.
The length of the microneedles.
